We are passionate about prevention and provide innovative services for our partners in clinical and non-clinical settings in HIV testing, prevention with persons living with HIV, and policy-related areas. Our staff is well versed in the changing context of HIV prevention strategies and interventions, and incorporates biomedical, behavioral, and structural strategies in responding to the needs of our consumers. For our technical assistance projects, we gather assessment data, develop tools and resources, and facilitate planning meetings across multidisciplinary teams. We have developed specialized trainings and technical assistance for state and local health departments on topics such as engaging MSM of color, incorporating social determinants of health in HIV program planning, responding to HIV-related stigma, strength-based counseling strategies, developing structural-level interventions, and monitoring and evaluation. We also have capacity to train on all EBIs currently prioritized by the CDC. Our goal is to provide relevant capacity building to health departments across the country to respond to the current challenges in HIV prevention in order to improve health outcomes.
