University of Washington - Public Health Capacity Building Center

The University of Washington Public Health Capacity Building Center (UW PHCBC) is a consortium of providers dedicated to implementing innovative strategies to build local and state health departments’ capacities to engage in high impact prevention in the areas of HIV testing, prevention with HIV-positive persons, and organizational development and management.
UW PHCBC is composed of faculty and staff at the University of Washington, administrators and clinicians at Public Health – Seattle & King County, consultants and trainers from Cardea Services, ECHO telemedicine videoconference and clinical infrastructure experts at the Mountain West AETC, and HIV/STD clinic administrative and partner services expertise of Rietmeijer Consulting.
